Four Pillars and Ba Zi
Ba Zi means eight characters. These eight characters come from the four pillars: each pillar has one Heavenly Stem and one Earthly Branch. The Four Pillars are therefore the structure of the Ba Zi chart.

This is why two charts with similar visible elements can still feel different. The same element can support, express, challenge or structure the Day Master depending on its relationship.
Birthplace and True Solar Time
The Hour Pillar can be sensitive to time correction. Birthplace, timezone, historical offset and True Solar Time help Tian Mira check whether the corrected time changes the Chinese hour branch.
