BaZi Calculator: Four Pillars, Day Master and True Solar Time
Tian Mira's BaZi calculator turns birth date, birth time and birthplace into a structured Four Pillars chart. It is designed for clarity: calculation first, interpretation second, and no fatalistic wording.
The main calculator is available on the homepage. This page explains what is calculated, why location and True Solar Time matter, and how to read the technical expert view.
What the calculator prepares
Birth date, birth time and birthplace
A BaZi chart depends on the exact date and, when available, the birth time. The birthplace is also important because civil clock time does not always match local solar time. Tian Mira can resolve the place, timezone, historical offset and solar correction before calculating the chart.
When the data is incomplete, Tian Mira keeps the limitation visible. Missing time, approximate place data or uncertain correction should not be hidden behind confident language.
Free reading and technical expert view
The free reading gives a clear first interpretation of the chart: Day Master, Five Elements, symbolic resources, tensions and practical reflection points. The technical expert panel shows calculated chart data such as Na Yin, Chang Sheng phases, Hidden Stems, Ten Gods, interactions and Luck Pillars when available.
This expert data is not a verdict. It is a transparent way to see the mechanics behind the reading and to understand how the chart is assembled.
Advanced weighting, not simple counting
Tian Mira does not only count visible elements in the Four Pillars. Its advanced weighting takes into account seasonality, the month branch, hidden stems, Day Master roots, the role of the Ten Gods and the main chart interactions.
The Four Pillars come from the calendar calculation. Five Element percentages are an analysis grid, presented as documented weighted reading rather than an absolute physical measurement.
Why can Five Element percentages differ between BaZi calculators?
Two BaZi calculators can agree on the Four Pillars while showing different element percentages. This is not necessarily an error. The pillars come from the calendar calculation, while the percentages depend on a weighting method: visible stems, hidden stems, month branch, seasonality and treatment of the Day Master.
Tian Mira makes this method more transparent by showing the recognized location, timezone, solar-time correction, pillars, hidden stems and expert data.
Use the calculator
