Four Pillars calculation
Year, month, day and hour are converted into Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches, with element, polarity and symbolic animal.
Local geodata
Mira uses a local city index built from open data to recognise the place, find the time zone and avoid an external geocoding API at calculation time.
True solar time
Birthplace can correct civil time. When the solar time crosses a Chinese hour boundary, the Hour Pillar may change: Mira flags this clearly.
Five Elements analysis
Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water are weighted from visible stems, main branches and hidden stems.
Ten Influences (十神)
Companion, Output, Wealth, Influence and Resource are calculated from the Day Master for a more precise reading.
Luck Pillars
Ten-year cycles indicate symbolic climates. They do not mechanically predict the future, but help to situate a period.
Symbolic stars
Heavenly Noble, Peach Blossom, Sky Horse and Academic Star complement the reading without replacing the main pillars.
